Horse not Galloping (Steam Deck)

Hi all, I looked online and didnt find a solution on this. I'm unable to gallop on the horse, which I have one more day for the derby. I know this is a known issue, but checking if anyone was able to get this corrected on their game?

I do use mods but nothing to do with the horse. I do have a mod to make me run faster, but removing that, animation and greeting speed did nothing
