What can you recommend for a smooth hooha?

I’ve been shaving, I don’t think i’ll be a fan of waxing since I hate pain. I don’t really like having hair down there either, more like a personal preference. It hurts for some reason when they grow longer. Any tips for it to be smooth after shaving + no itchiness afterwards? Thanks in advance!
