Seeing a nutritionist but always hungry

NSFWTW: Diet, Weight Loss, Food Issues

So, I'm attempting to try and maintain a healthy diet post CFS diagnosis while I'm dealing with the October slide from hell. The problem is, I tend to binge on sweets at night because it actually gives me a flash of energy. I've had bloodwork done, I'm not hypoglycemic or diabetic, but I need to know if this is the case for anyone else? What do you do when you've been in bed all day but are visited by a gnawing hunger? How do I eat less? I need to eat less, I'm medically overweight and haven't been active in WEEKS. Not even a little bit of walking because I've gone from mild to severe over this last October. I'm seeing a nutritionist but do any other CFS people have those weird hunger spikes at about 9pm and have to eat something otherwise they won't sleep? What should I do?
