advancement to seq 7

After the missions, Rhine traded the contribution she had in for the Shadow Ascetic potion.

This time, the bottle was filled with an almost completely black liquid, flowing like a formless gas inside the bottle. It was cold to touch, and seemed to absorb all light from around it.

With one gulp, Rhine downed the potion.

Immediately, the spirituality in her body seemed to surge out, wild and rampant again. The shadows on the floor and walls seemed to flicker in and out of existence, as they warped into twisted shapes definitely not casted by a human.

Taking a deep, shaky breath, Rhine used her cognition, an ability she finally learnt from the faction, and let the tranquil, blood-red ocean appear in front of her.

Everything started to calm down, the shadows returning to where they belong and the room became normal again.

Rhine had advanced to Shadow Ascetic.
