I thought it was Menopause. It was the Wine

Hot Flashes/Night Sweats

Hey everyone , I have been doing a deep dive into how alcohol affects us women when going through perimenopause and menopause, and , my findings were very interesting

From the research I did

One woman though her symptoms were hormonal:

The hot flashes

the waking up in the middle of the night

the constant anxiety

She tried to go the 'clean' route you know low sulfate, organic wine, while trying to stack better sleeping habits but non of that really worked

Unrelated she stopped drinking for about 2 weeks

and thats when she noticed a change

she described it as being dramatic

Better sleep, no more night sweats, less moodiness, more energy

by the end of the first week she says she feels like her old self again

Agt first I was skeptical I thought maybe "thats just her" but I started digging into the science and other women's stories , it checked out

so I pulled all of it together, the personal stories, the mdeiccal data, the what actually helped

Ive not been much of a drinker my whole life, but I got my sister to try it who is older than me by 2 years and she did notice some change.

I am not saying it will get rid of your symptoms or is some magic cure but it may reduce severity and make life that little bit more manageable

Would like to know from you all has anyone else ever had a break from alcohol and noticed a shift in their symptoms

if you are curios, I can add the links to all the research and sources I used in the comments( I don't want to break any rules)
