Inline electric screwdriver decision: Bosch vs Vessel
I am looking for a lightweight inline electric screwdriver. I have a nice ratcheting screwdriver, a cordless drill/driver, and an impact driver, but sometimes I just need to unscrew or screw in a bunch of lightweight screws and I don't want to lug around my drill/driver.
I loved the Dewalt gyro, but they don't really sell it anymore. The new one looks like a downgrade. So here are the ones I'm looking at:
Bosch Go 3:
- Pros:
- Variable torque
- Seems to have generally good reviews
- Good quick change
- Good size
- Cons: No speed control
- Unsure: The push to start seems really interesting, but I could see myself loving it or hating it
Vessel Ball Grip with 3 speeds:
- Pros:
- Love the form factor
- Variable speed and torque
- Cons:
- Less torque control than the bosch
- Idk how much I'll like their buttons
- Torque/speed control seems a little clunky
- Unsure: people have mentioned that they have slop with US bits, but I think that doesn't apply if you buy the "USA Official" version on amazon which says "Japanese 1/4inch Hex standard is not applicable"
- Bonus:
- Skil Twist: seems good and cheap, but no speed control
- Makita DF012DZ: expensive, needs a battery pack separate, but has most features I want
- Amazon basics (skil): seems pretty good tbh if I just want to try one and see what matters.
What do you all think? Anyone have strong opinions?
