Fics where Cauldron's hubris and over-reliance on PtV has them getting slammed by a PR/Legal scandal they don't see coming

Or in other words, a true Path to Victory blindspot, one not detectable by Contessa, even by the methods she uses to work around Eidolon and the Endbringers. So Cauldron thinks everything is fine until it much, much too late to fix things. It's not can't path or wrong path, it's just totally invisible to PtV until its too late.

Would prefer this to be more a legal or PR disaster than purely a cape thing. There are plenty of fics with blindspot capes that are just powerful, but I'm looking for a fic where Cauldron so used to relying on PtV can't see a massive PR shitstorm brewing because they don't even do the most basic non-PtV checks on things.
