cant afford to buy where i work

so ill keep this short, I'm in a situation where I'm living with my parents and cant carry on doing so, i have a good job that pays well, the problem is that i cant afford to buy where i work, i would rent but if i do so ill never be able to save enough for a mortgage and will probably rent for life, the only place i can buy a suitable property if 150 miles away, I'm not sure what to do since i need to keep my job as i probably wont be able to get one this good anywhere else, but i also know i cant travel 3 hours to work and 3 hours home
