Questions about udupi

I need to clarify some questions about udupi and specially schools nearby

1. Why can't I eat alone, and when I do, everyone keeps looking and pointing? (Im 17, of that accounts for something like age discrimination)

2. Why don't many people here use cycles, I'm just curious, udupi has some pretty good roads

3. Is there a specific reason why I'm not allowed to sit with or talk to girls, even if they're my classmates? I will not mention the school name but this rule is pretty stupid.

4. Is it true that I will get my belongings stolen near temples? I have heard from multiple people, telling me to not carry backpacks near the temples, specially krishna matha and nearby?
