Had cramps so bad yesterday I cried for all women

Normally my periods go like this: Get it every 35 days, tender boobs/bloating a week before, and regular cramping only during 1st day of period.

This time has been way different. Had cramps lasting 6 days before my period, then on the 1st day the pits of hell decided it was my time to have fire bestowed on me. Unfortunately I was driving when it start creeping up bad. Ended up having to pull over and began the worst 1.5 hours of my life. Sweating, nausea, and pain so bad I contemplated calling an ambulance from how unbearable it was. I ended up dozing off and woke up exhausted. Now I am day 2, still cramping but mildly. I remember once or twice a year I would get a really bad cramping episode, but nothing compared to the torture I felt yesterday.

I'm thinking of all the women in the world that don't have the resources or even access to pain medication to help them. The women that get downplayed by doctors and governments that don't take them seriously. My heart aches for all of us.
