where do i start studying for the mcat?

❗️Serious

I'm a freshman. I'm giving myself a lot of time to study for the MCAT because after the SAT, I realized that I'm not natural at standarized test taking and need more time to prepare. I plan to begin summer before sophomore year. I'm in a bs/md program and have to hit a certain score, but generally just aiming for something that will make me competitve. So i guess my question is, do I just do practice problems over and over until I've nailed it? Do i do content review then attack the test? I plan on doing diagnostics obv but do I just do a million practice problems and correct them until i can recognize it all instead of learning the material?
