Advice for advancing/things to practice

So i consider myself and intermediate player I guess. I’ve been playing for awhile now (around fifteen years) I’ve taken it seriously on and off I guess you could say. I can jam with people pretty easily. I’ve done a lot of practice with the caged system stuff and can navigate the fretboard pretty decent but it feel like I’m missing something that’s getting me to the next level. Just looking for advice or suggestions for things to learn and practice that will make my playing more musical and feel less like I’m just noodling around in key. Also looking for advice in the area of writing better chord progressions and rhythm work. I like a lot of different types of music and I’m open to most things.
