Which city tour to take: Big Bus or Love Tours (VW bus)?

My family and I are visiting for a couple days while on a road trip. Minor children but no toddlers. For hunt experience only, would you do the big bus tour that makes multiple stops, or the San Francisco love tours with the VW hippie bus? The latter is 2 hours. Going just before Thanksgiving.
