Am I being prepped for a PIP?

Posting on behalf of a friend.

I recently went into a 1-2-1 with my manager in which she outlined on two sides of A4 everything that had gone wrong in my department that year (some felt very nitpicky, like not preparing well for a presentation that I had 24 hour notice for) as well as things she was disappointed with. There were no positive points mentioned at all, even though other departments note how brilliant my work is.

She then set objectives which in my opinion have unreasonable deadlines. She is wanting new tasks done, which take a lot of time, with a deadline of December. The tasks in question take a lot of planning and rely on other people. This is on top of my business as usual tasks.

We are a thin team and already stretched to capacity which my manager is aware of.

Am I being prepped to be pushed out? I plan on requesting the document she read off and going through it point by point now I’ve had time to reflect. But I need to know if I need to be looking for another job in the meantime.
