A simple performance optimization on the Options page that also improves UX

Feedback

Whenever you select or unselect an expiry date in the Options page, there is an instant call to the backend to refresh the data.

This instant call adds a tiny jitter to the UI which is very annoying, especially when selecting or unselecting multiple dates.

For a better UX, it would be awesome to add this tiny enhancement on the UI side.

  1. Whenever a date is selected or unselected, do not fire back-end call instantly. Rather schedule it to be posted 0.3 seconds later.

  2. If another date is selected or unselected in those 0.3 seconds, then cancel the call scheduled in first step above and include it in this new change.

By doing this small change above (and its pretty standard behavior on UIs where multiple user interactions are expected), you are saving back-end calls as well as improving the UX
