Elizabeth didn't revolutionize SFM Porn:

FUGTRUP

u/fugtrup I hate this tweet because I feel like this person doesn't know what they're talking about. I've never heard anything remotely like that, every tool that 3dpornography uses has existed before, I don't know of a single case where r34 animation required a technological breakthrough. 3d animation has been around for ages, we all use tools that every 3d artist uses. The only thing I can think of is that Elizabeth made 3d r34 scene more popular, combined with the release of Source Filmmaker, which was an entry point into 3D for many people, who then migrated to Blender, which in turn contributed to Blender's popularity today. But that's just speculation on my part (Fugtrup, 2023)

Lord Aardvark

u/LordAardvark Right so, really it's more of a meme. It's a fun tale to tell, like how porn won the VHS wars, but the reality is that porn animation co-evolved with the rest of tell, like how is that the scene. People like to point to things like jiggle animation and what-not, but the truth is we simply co-opted that technology. When people think of jiggle animation they think of things like tiddies and butts, but the reality is that tech was built for more innocuous things. For example, the jigglebones in Source that widely popularized jiggly boobs and what-not were originally built by Valve for the antlion wings to jostle about when they move. We simply co-opted the tech. (LordAardvark, 2023)
