Random hypothetical question
I just want to start this off by saying I am the complete opposite of a Karen, I am one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet but first impression is huge to me and if you’re a dick/asshole off rip then you’ll get exactly what you came for (if you get my drift(and not in a gay way)). Anyway, I just had a staples customer service supervisor call me and yell at me because a customer came to pick up her order from the website that got delivered and she didn’t have her barcode so I didn’t give her her package. (we’ve been told not to give out orders unless that barcode is scanned and our LP even sends emails every day telling us the percentage of barcodes we scan). She was getting super shitty with me with a ton of attitude all for something our district manager has even told us to do along with our scanners. She told me emails have never generated barcodes (aka making me think I’m just straight up dumb and crazy since apparently I’ve been scanning nothing in these emails). Then she calls back afterwards and is trying to tell me she still didn’t know what I was talking about being even more degrading. I’m just wondering if there’s a place or if cross channel takes complaints on their employees or how that works. Whether or not I was in the wrong or right or whether she was in the wrong or right there’s a way you’re supposed to approach people.
