Recommendations for SIMPLE photo editing software?

My needs are very simple. I don't want photoshop or GIMP. The main things I need to be able to do are:

stretching images (being able to stretch one side for example to give an image perspective is important)

cropping in odd shapes. Like subtracting individual chunks from an image and being able to do it with adjustably fuzzy edges

Really I want something that is just 1-2 steps above what I can do in canva. And I'd definitely want something that I can just pay for once instead of a subscription.

TIA for any help!
