2 numbers for 1 parcel on royal mail app?

On the royal mail app.. Why is there two separate numbers allocated to parcels, it might be just for tracked parcels I don't know..?

but why do they need two separate numbers, it comes up like you're getting delivered 2 parcels when it's only the one?
