Why do YOU play D10?

I play almost exclusively Difficulty 10 missions because I like to treat the Galactic map like a bounty board. I look at those D10 missions and go "Someone's gotta do it."

On the flip side, my friend also only likes playing on D10 but he brings a different reason. To him, anything less than a 10 feels like he's just in a simulation preparing divers for the real missions on D10.

So what about you? Do you have your own head cannon for why your Helldiver does D10s?
