2019 Ford Explorer Limited – cold start & shifting jerk issues (80,000 km, Canada)
I’ve got a 2019 Ford Explorer Limited with around 80,000 km on it (I’m in Canada). Lately, I’ve noticed a few issues: • It gives a noticeable jerk when I put it into reverse during a cold start. • On uphill drives, I sometimes feel a jerk when the gear shifts. • Around 60–70 km/h, it occasionally takes longer than usual to shift gears.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with their Explorer? Is this an early sign of transmission trouble, or something minor that can be fixed with servicing or software updates?
