Ja appreciation post

Loving the new Ja! This is the version of Ja I've been wanting to see for several years now. Shows up every game and does nothing flashy that could easily injure him. Still has the amazing athleticism, no look passes and great handle. Loved the behind the back dribble to set up the game winning shot last night. THAT is the fancy athletic play that gets the job done without causing him to miss 4 straight games.

Just because you CAN do something amazingly athletic (and potentially self destructive) doesn't mean you have to. I am actually now believing we can keep a healthy and productive Ja on the floor this season for 70 plus games; and a healthy Ja on the court make everyone on this team MUCH better. And when Edey gets back with his great screens Jas scoring which is great per minute already will go up even more. I'd rather have a 10 game span with a healthy Ja scoring 27 mins/game than one 35 point game, a 40 point game, one flashy high flying highlight and 8 DNPs. Love the new look Mr. Morant!
