PS2 controller film replacement?

So I have 4 SCPH-10010 (A) controllers and 1 (H) controller. All have problems between dpads not working or other buttons not working. I've cleaned them out but have also read that the conductive film wear out over time.

How good are the replacement films found on the internet? Certain things to look for or avoid?

I'd like to get at least 4 working to play multi player games.
