Suggestions for a dating app we’re building

Hey! My friends and I are 21 and have had little to no luck on dating apps. We do fine in person and aren’t creepy, but our experiences on apps have been pretty bad. So we decided to build our own. Most apps focus on making money through subscriptions and don’t show all your potential matches. We want to take a different approach that genuinely helps people meet and connect. What features or ideas would you want to see in an app like that? We want to start off by implementing our idea in Bangalore alone first .
