Game slightly lost it's feel?

I don't mean to bring this topic back up purposely as it's already well and done, absolutely no hate whatsoever towards the devs but ever since we lost sonic and knuckles lms, it feels like the game itself has slowly lost it's vibe or soul. I don't know what it is but something about having lyrics in the songs just make it so much more impactful and bring a lot more individuality to the game, if they could get more songs like that it would be awesome
