As a new mom to a baby girl, what are some examples of those rites of passage growing up.
Hi, I saw a video on my tik tok today about how children have nothing to look forward to when they grow up with no guidelines/boundaries to their freedom. (For example: no age limit to when a girl can get her nose pierced) The woman said that when you set a boundary to what age certain freedoms can be achieved, like a nose piercing, it give your child something to look forward to and the delayed gratification make it even more exciting. That got me thinking on what kind of rites of passage I want to experience with my daughter and when growing up, like her first piercing or first phone. Please share any examples you have with this subject and your experiences so I can plan them for my daughter :)
