Soft palette swelling

I’m 24 days post op and feeling really good overall! However, I still have swelling in my soft palette and it makes me gag when I try to talk 🫠 did this happen to anyone else and is there anything I can do? I suck on mints and drink a lot of water to help me talk a little bit, but I’d really love to feel back to normal and be able to talk without gagging constantly!!
