Race 2 or Coros Pace pro

Hi everyone, I am considering getting a Race 2, I waited enough for a better watch coming from Coros but unfortunately they are keen on making cheap and small MIP displays that don't work for me anymore. Coros software I think remains the best but I don't really need anything sophisticated as I have a trainer with whom I work already for 6 years. To compensate bad visibility of my current Pace 2 I am wearing the second watch (Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, it has relatively nice 1.45in display) but I got tired of this setup. Pace Pro looks a bit underwhelming, just a bit bigger than Pace 2 and definitely smaller than Race 2 Titanium which seems a much better option. All Coros releases this year have MIP displays and I doubt the upcoming Pace 4 will have a better display.I use the watch mostly for road running, don't care much for any data for weight training and don't care much for any smart functions. The most important for me is to be able to see the training data (pace, HR, altitude gain) but I believe any watch these days can handle that.

I think Race 2 would fit my usage scenarios well, I saw it has 400m track running mode as I use it quite often. It would be nice to hear opinions of those who made the switch or attempted to make the switch from Coros to Suunto. A bit scared of Suunto software/update issues but hope it should be all sorted out by now
