Someone from Reddit left me a £20 gift voucher at my local cafe.
An American lady was visiting my part of Scotland and we got chatting about what she should do whilst she was here. Long story short she decided to drive an hour outside of her base in Inverness just to see my wee village. She had fallen in love with my description of it and a nearby castle that had her name. I was working that day so we never met each other but she paid for a gift voucher from a posh local cafe and sent me a pic. I was quite overwhelmed to be honest and was so sorry that we didn't meet each other. Anyhoo, hubby and I popped into the cafe yesterday morning and redeemed her gift. We had posh coffee and got two sausages for the dog. There was £10 left on the voucher so I passed it on to the next customer who walked in the door and it would be taken off their bill. One good turn deserves another. Thank you Robin :)
