Is Putting windows on a diff ssd okay?

Okay so to make it short I wanted to put Windows(Windows 11) to an sata ssd so that I can keep my files and stuff separated from windows stuff, Like instead of putting it in my 1tb m.2 drive, Ill just put it on a separate ssd, I could also put drivers their for technical stuff and my other personnal like games and pictures is on the main one, What are the pros and cons to doing that? Planning for 256 gb of storage for windows and drivers.
