I need help...

I've done some bad things, and recently, I discovered catholicism. I read the bible and wondered if my actions couldn't be forgiven. In a passage somewhere in the bible, it says to confess with your heart and mouth and you will be forgiven, so I confessed to a catholic priest, but I'm wondering what to do to be certain that I'm going to heaven. Can you help?
