Playing Empire with Pirate Uber Alles on. Why does it keep crashing at around round 42

Just installed PUA. I don't have any other mods installed and I haven't tweaked anything much at all. Everytime I want to end turn at round 42 it crashes during the AI's turn. Anyone know what's wrong?
