Getting a new-to-me, need advice

Buy/Lease:TakeMyMoney:

I'm getting a used car. I want a manual transmission now than anything. I also want a relatively new car (2021 and later). I've never had a VW but always loved the Golf line. (Coming from a Mazda 2, excited about more power.)

I'm currently looking at a "2024 volkswagen golf gti 380 performance fwd"... going to test drive it today.

But I've read a lot about Golfs and how some years or trims are better/preferred.

Can you please let me know if the car I'm checkout is a good one (I've heard about oil and coolant leaks), or if there's another one I should keep am eye out for? I want a car that feels fun and will last me 10-15 years with good maintenance.

TIA
