I started reading Matthew Perry's memoir and I couldn't get past the Foreword without ugly crying

Discussion

I bought the book before he died, and since then, I haven't had the courage (or heart) to read it. It's been two years and I decided to give it a try. Read Lisa Kudrow's foreword and I couldn't even get past the first three sentences without ugly crying.

I am now on the second chapter and I have to take breaks or at least completely stop after reading a whole chapter. It was so so heartbreaking. I remember reading the book "A Little Life" and the only thing that gave me comfort in reading it was the thought that it was fictional, but Matthew Perry's memoir isn't, and I feel my heart breaking at every sentence.

I'm sorry if this is a little different from the usual posts here, I just needed to let this out. I really really really hope Matthew knew how loved he was and how he still is, very much.
