Razor Leviathan V2 X USBC Extender not working

I bought a Razor Leviathan but my PC set up is not typical as my box sits a good 6' away from my monitor. The USBC is about 3ft too short for the speaker to sit under my monitor. I purchased a USBC extender on amazon but the speakers will not work with that extender.

If I plug in the unit without the extender it works. With the extender it powers up but no sound. Assuming extenders don't carry the sound part of it. Anyone know of an extender that would work? I don't see anything Razer sells
