My dog keeps getting severe bladder issues and no one can figure out why

My dog has been having ongoing bladder problems since July. She’s had multiple UTIs, and every time she gets one, her bladder swells significantly. She leaks urine constantly, but when she actually tries to pee, she strains and can only get a small amount out. She’s only 8 years old.

She’s been to the vet at least every other week since this started, but they haven’t been able to determine the cause. She’s had 4 X-rays, and no obstructions were seen on any of them.

Despite everything, she’s still herself. Happy, eating, and drinking normally. But the constant leaking and discomfort are obviously affecting her quality of life.

Has anyone seen a case like this or have any idea what might be going on? We tried setting a consult up with a urologist, but they haven’t gotten back to her vet. I’m happy to get her records for anyone who may be able to help. I just want my baby to feel better.
