AIO or am I just sensitive

❤️‍🩹 relationship

Hi Reddit, I just created an account because of the YouTube channels I follow, I often listen to the stories that are posted here. Before taking any major actions, I wanted to make sure I’m not being too sensitive, that my reactions are normal, and that the behavior I expect from my significant other isn’t unreasonable.

There have been quite a few incidents, but I guess my trauma brain is blocking some of them, so I only remember them occasionally. I decided to post here whenever something happens or if I recall something from the past. I just have to figure out how Reddit works first.

Anyway, short context: I (34F) and my boyfriend (48M) have been together for a little over three years now. We also have a child; a little girl, 2 years old. FYI, English is not my first language.

Latest incident: Our little girl has been waking up in tears every night for the last two months and won’t stop crying until we let her sleep in our bed. Needless to say, neither of us has had a good night’s sleep in a while. I saw that he was tired and offered that he could sleep on the couch while I handled our daughter for a night or two. I can’t remember if he even said “thank you” at the time, but a few days later, during an argument, when I said he doesn’t appreciate the things I do for him (including this), he said, “What should I be thankful for? Why would I have to say thank you for that?” He insisted that it’s normal for me to handle the baby for a few nights (or for him to do so if I needed rest).

He never once offered to let me sleep in another room. AITA?
