Thinking of getting the AYN Thor but worried about touchscreen games, should I wait?

Been eyeing the AYN Thor for a bit and honestly, it looks sick. I love the clamshell design, the build, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 seems more than enough for what I want, mostly heavy emulation, and light PC stuff through Gamehub Lite.

The only thing that’s holding me back is that a lot of Android games like project sekai rely heavily on touchscreen controls, and I’m not sure how well they’ll work on the Thor. I know there’s mapping and overlays, but idk if that actually feels good or just clunky.

I was thinking maybe something i've not heard about yet might drop soon? Ideally I want something powerful (Gen 2 or better), with good battery life, single screen and still pocketable.

So yeah, if you’ve tried the Thor or know about upcoming stuff, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
