GPU Dilemma

So I’m stuck in a dilemma of which gpu to choose this upcoming Black Friday:

-Rtx 5080 —:$1200

Rx 9070xt —:$700

Now before you say it. I do know in terms of raw performance 5080 might sweep without issue. But I’m seeing things online everywhere where it’s stated that an undervolted or overclocked 9070 can beat or at least match the 5080 for nearly half the money……

What do I do here? When the deals come through everything fits in my budget but the 5080 really puts it in a choke hold. Then there’s the whole thing with drivers and everything and cpu pairings and this and that. I can do either or, but which one should I really stick with because this will go into my last build for years to come.
