Shortcut Pan tool Issue

Hello, I am having an issue with Krita and I need help to understand it and maybe find a way to fix it.

When on a canvas, I try to move around with the pan action. There are multiple way to move on the canvas, and I use the following.

Using the pan tool from the tool bar:

• When using it with my mouse with left click, it is smooth and works well

• When using it with my pen from my tablet, I click on the surface of my screen, it is also smooth and works well

Using the spcebar short cut (default configuration on the Krita default for Canvas Input Settings)

• When using it with my mouse, I press space then left click to move, it works well, it is smooth

• When using it with my pen, I press space then click on my screen, it freezes. The screen stop moving until I release one of the buttons. The canvas will then move to the final position. It is not smooth.

Using the Middle button (default configuration on the Krita default for Canvas Input Settings)

• When using it with the mouse, I middle click then move the mouse around. It is smooth and works well

• When using it with my pen 3rd button, same behavior as with spacebar shortcut.

I have recorded a video of the issue. I first use my mouse to mouve around with middle click, then my pen (you can see it freeze). then I use both methods with the pan tool directly and everything works.

The issue happen on both big and small canvas (200x200px for the video example). My brush/pressure settings for my tablet are working perfectly.

Setup:

• Windows 11

• Intuos Pro M PTH-651 - Drivers are up to date

• Krita version 5.2.13

Should I open a bug report for Krita ?
