Looking for good Budget Acoustic Drum Kits – Not a Total Beginner, But Far From Pro! Advice Needed

Hey r/drums!

I’m on the hunt for my first (own) complete drum set that delivers solid bang for the buck without emptying my wallet. I'm not a beginner anymore, but I’m definitely not pro-level either.

I’m looking for a kit that’s:

• Affordable but not cheap (good build and sound quality matter)
• Suitable for versatile music styles
• Ready to play (hardware + cymbals included would be awesome!)

I’d love to hear your top recommendations, hidden gems, or even what you started with before upgrading.
Advice on brands to avoid or used gear that’s worth looking at is also greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance, y’all!
