How similar is medical school in germany to A levels?

Do i constantly have to practice papers? All day everyday? Is it as memorization dependent as a levels? I have a C in biology and i was barely doing papers cuz i genuinely can not spend hours doing the same shit over and over again. If med school will be the same i do not want to apply but i have a deep passion for the human brain and psychiatry specifically, i can’t imagine myself as anything but a dr. A levels just really dishearten me, will medical school be like this? For context, I am applying to M different M kurses in various Studienkollegs since i’m no longer doing a levels and am focused on my countries exam (application to Studienkolleg requires that in my country). I got all As and 3 A* on my igcses so i have a good base. I just want to know how comparable specifically German medical schools are to A levels.
