Went off my meds to "teach them a lesson"

I am just so incredibly heartbroken that it got to this place. I am grieving the loss of the trust I used to have in the medical system. How on earth did they fumble so bad that the most staunchly anti-anti-psychiatry patient, that's been incredibly compliant for 15 years has their trust in the system eroded to the point of stopping treatment unsupervised... All I wanted was help. Felt like I was transported back in time to the lobotomies, forced treatment and institutionalisation era. Trying to rebuild and find out the next steps with the help of the Patient Advocacy organisation. But damn, I'm just so sad it got to this point.
