I built CoverLetterGo — an AI tool that writes job-ready cover letters in seconds

Hey everyone, I’m Eric Sammer, a data scientist who’s spent years hiring, applying, and helping people get interviews.

A few months ago I decided to build something simple but useful — an AI that helps you write a strong, personalized cover letter in seconds. I called it CoverLetterGo.com.

At first, it was just a weekend project. But as I tested it with friends, I saw how many people hate writing cover letters or use the same generic text every time. So I kept improving it — better templates, real-time editing, ATS keyword scoring, and quick PDF export.

Now it’s a full web app. You type the job title, paste your resume or a link, and it builds a clean, professional letter that feels human. It’s free to try, and I’ve added an unlimited plan for people applying to a lot of jobs.

I’m still improving it — adding new AI models, tracking recruiter keywords, and exploring integrations with LinkedIn and Gmail.

If you’re job hunting or hiring, I’d love to hear what you think.
