Spooky scary skeletons. Halloween!

Carnivore Diet Success Stories

I spent Halloween around a bunch of adults and kids who were collecting massive quantities of candy. A number of times throughout the evening I thought it would be nice to eat a Reese's cup or a Snickers bar. But it was no more than just a thought. I did not eat even one piece of candy corn.

The thought of that immediate pleasure of eating candy was not as important to me as the health that I have being on the carnivore diet. I simply valued my present and future health more than I valued a momentary sugar high. There was no struggle in this, just an awareness that that's where I'm at today.

For those of you that were around candy this Halloween, what were your experiences? Any successes or failures with struggling to stay on the carnivore diet? Or no struggle at all?
