Recommend Modes/Maps/Weapons for a BF3 Veteran Medic ?

The title pretty much says it all, but I got a new PS5 because my Linux server is unable to run the game, even though I have more than enough hardware, that said, I'm playing as support class because I like healing people and trying to stay alive as much as possible, but I feel like there is something I'm doing wrong when it comes to game modes and overall combat

What maps and modes should a be playing that are closer to what we had in BF3? Is there a way to disable bots at all ? I don't like it; I'm still at a low level right now but the multiplayer screen is really confusing and I don't understand the map rotation
