Was I diagnosed with an outdated term

Back in March2025 when I was in a high risk mental health unit I had an episode that mimicked a seizure and so one of the registered doctors diagnosed me with 'pseudo-seizures' because epilepsy was ruled out HOWEVER I have heard that the term 'pseudo-seizure' is outdated and the proper terms are either psychogenic non-epileptic seizures(PNES) OR functional seizures(FS/FND), I'm not sure why they diagnosed with 'pseudo-seizures' did they mean PNES/FND or were they accusing me of faking? I am NOT faking btw.
