**UM:**

Remus Venatus is a solid aggro WL. Drop solid troops with Strategy on Curve, bash your opponents face, play Honour Bearers or Unity of Purpose as a finisher and win before you run out of steam or your opponent overwhelms you in the late game. Solid, straightforward, good for beginners.

Aeonid Thiel is one the WL you see a lot in the Top50, High Initative, damage ability that generates ressources on a troop kill and acces to a very flexible and well rounded card pool. Also recommended.

Valius Travian can either be a 3/3 with Frontline, which is very good value for 2E, or be a 1/5, which will almost certainly protect your board/face in the early game.

Gladius Incandor is too slow at 6E. If you want to give 3 attack to your WL, Lucius Cassian also costs 6E, gives +1/2 to your WL and leaves an overstatted body, for the rather easy requirement that you have to trigger Courage. Not recommended.

Suzerain Tyvus is a good Frontline that can further stun a dangerous beatstick, but it is vulnerable to jamming.

Lysimachus Cestus has solid stats for a 4E Frontline and can buff your board, giving it the potential to be comboed in the mid or late game. Very flexible and decent option.

Unity of Purpose can be a great finisher, but Honour Bearers is more flexible.

Most factions have AoE that outclasses Burning of Bodt, and the RNG on it can be notoriously unreliable, but it has a niche with Arg'khel Goreborn, who will often spawn Displaced Civilians on his opponents board and those are guaranteed to be killed by Burning of Bodt.

**SW:**

I don't really play SW, so take everything I say with a grain of salt or two.

Grimnir Blackblood is the least aggressive WL in an aggro faction. His abilty can make mid game troops like Freki very difficult ot deal with, but it makes you sacrifice your early game, and gives your opponent breathing space to develop his board or advance his gameplan, and against SW, most opponents will thank you for the opportunity to do so. There are probably some at least decent builds for him, but I'd rather play Hvarl Red-Blade or Leman Russ if given the choice.

For an in-depth review of Curze, see yesterdays shop. Tl;dr: I really like him, he's still very good, Primarchs are rare, buy if you have the gems, Alt Art is badass.

Geri is a staple. Solid stats, Frontline and Invulnerability on your WL. There are only a few things that can hard remove it on curve like Bitter Duty or Spirit of Fenris, and those are conditional. AoE jam can also remove the effect, but those are limited to AL, SoS and AoS and generally expansive, and they still leave a 6/6 troop to be dealt with. In every other case, your opponent will have to sacrifice his board and/or bash it. Definetively recommended. Also, since bith Geri and Freki are classified as infantry and SW generally don't run other infantry troops, you can reliably seek them out with the Cthonian Arvus Lighter.

Howl of Morkai can buy you an entire turn, but so can Geri or even Spirit of Fenris. Both Howl of Morkai and spirit of Fenris target damaged troops, but Spirit of Fenris destroys troops instead of merely delaying them. Not worth it.

Fierce Onslaught got nerfed so that it removes itself after it's Battlehonour gets triggered once, and has consequently fallen out of favour. Could still be usefull in niche cases, but those are far and few between. It will also rotate soon, so I don't recommend buying it unless you have a very specific build in mind.

Codran Hunters are a staple, average stats but will survive a bash from your opponents WL and a great Pack ability that makes it a threat that has to be dealt with.

Baldr Squad is an overstatted 2E troop that has a good enough Hunt ability, always worth a consideration.

Pretenatural Senses works against both Stealth and Precognition, but Precognition is pretty niche and Urban Warfare a better 1E anti-Stealth. Perhaps worth a consideration if TS and AoS become meta relevant again.
