Further Maths for Finance
So there are two contrasting stories that I have heard about the need of Further Maths in order to get into a City Job.
The first one is that it is extremely required for any university courses for Finance at reputable universities such as Cambridge and LSE, and after checking their websites, that does indeed seem correct.
However, I have recently been told that the finance sector doesn't care about what you take in university, which seems weird, but is backed up by the fact that basically every single university course has finance as their second most common destination for people who take it.
So which is true? Are both true, but a Finance course in Uni gets you a higher starting salary?
