Messed up during FFCS — can I fix this now?

Hey everyone, I really messed up during FFCS and I’m panicking a bit.

In a hurry, I selected the wrong slot for one subject the faculty I wanted was taking two slots, and I accidentally chose the other one, which ended up clashing with another course. Now because of that, I couldn’t register for an important subject that has both theory and lab, and I’m stuck with only 17 credits instead of 21.

The only way to fix this seems to be changing my lab slot and somehow getting the teacher I originally wanted, but that feels almost impossible during the add/drop window.

I have so many questions • Is there any way to fix this now? • Can I request a slot change or talk to the FFCS office? • If I can’t take this subject this sem, will they even allow me to take it next sem since the courses are already fixed? • How do I recover the missing credits if I’m short now?

I know this was a really stupid mistake on my part, but I just want to know if there’s still some way out of it. Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed to fix it somehow?
